I completed the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam in November 2017, after about eight weeks study, with a score of 85%.

Below are a series links to blog posts containing all my study notes, and finally, another blog post containing my thoughts on the exam, as well as some exam feedback and tips for those who will sit the exam after me.

These notes were written over several iterations; as I learned more, I went back and updated the notes.

The first iteration on these notes was done while working through each module of the A Cloud Guru AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate course.. If you’re doing the same course, I hope you’ll find these notes especially useful, as the format of these notes follows the same structure as the course, with lots of additional detail including links to FAQs, and relevant AWS articles to clarify the course content even further.

After completing the A Cloud Guru course, I then worked through Whizlabs practice exams. At the end of each practice exam, I updated my notes to clarify any points of confusion, adding additional things that I learned.

These notes were quite a bit of work, and were massively helpful in getting the 85% score in the exam. I’m glad to be able to share the notes with you!
